Moto Z2 force

2017-09-17, 23:39 PM

Bought this phone on 8/25 for hubbies b-day. Worked for about 2-3 woks and stopped responding. Wouldn't charge or turn on. Called Verizon and the shipped us a refurbished phone. Got it 2 days ago, set it up and it is now not working. Something the other one did. He shook it twice to get the camera to come on and it hasn't worked since. Verizon is sending us another refurbished phone, should have it Tuesday. Paid for a new phone and we get a used, refurbished phone to replace it but still have to pay full price for it. I'm giving this phone a -5 on the ratings scale. I will not recommend this phone to anyone. On our 3rd phone in as many weeks. I wonder now long this one will last?

with most of the refurbishing sites, this early in a phone's sales life odds are many of the "refurbished" phones are actually new, they just don't come in the same box. When the next one comes in, as it's being set up don't use the automatic restore for your apps. It could be that there is a poorly written app causing this. On the one you have now, try holding the power button in for about 15 seconds to see if that reboots the phone, also try using a different charger. If it turns on we can go from there, if not we'll have to wait until the new one comes in

Thank you. We've tried that. Tech support through Verizon said to hold the down volume and power button at the same time, but nothing happens. We have tried different cords, different outlets, different outlet adaptors and nothing works. Even the charge light doesn't flash when it's plugged in. When the new phone comes, I'll skip the automatic app setup and have him reinstall them one at a time... from a proper source. I am very disappointed with this phone and with Verizon. I will not be upgrading through them, once our payment plans are done, so am I.

Thanks again for the information you gave me.

Sorry to hear. My buddy and I are on TMobile with no issues. Did your phone have any software updates before this?
