Moto z2 Force Cameras Don't Work

2019-11-13, 16:47 PM

I've tried restarting, factory reset, cache clear, safe mode, and a lot of things but nothing seems to work, the icon is gone on my home screen and my lock screen and I don't know why.

Hi Prismal,

Thanks for posting. Is this the Front camera or back camera? Have you tried using a 3rd party camera app? You can also do a hardware test on the camera by going to Device Help/Moto Help > Fix/Device Diagnosis > Hardware Test > Front and back camera. Let me know how it goes.

Best regards,
Zeke

It's both cameras I think, the device help only shows a greyish black screen when I try to look at it, games that use camera won't be able to use and most of them crash when I try to use it.

Hi Prismal,

That could be a hardware issue and you may need to send your phone to a service center for repair/replacement.
