Motoz2 force "no service emergency calls only"

2020-03-07, 23:53 PM
Having a problem with my motoz2. I have tried: Restart; Switching airplane mode on/off; Took phone to US Cellular and they did all that, changed sim card, said something about global vs lte/cdma(?). Did a factory reset even. Still no service. Last app download was Jurassic world alive game, which uses Google gps?

A quick test would be to delete the Jurassic World game and see if your phone will then register properly on the network.

If that were the case, the factory reset should have had the same result...but, yes I tried that before the factory reset too.

Hi Lobo524,

I'd like to confirm, did you restore your apps after doing the reset? Can you please  update your profile with the current phone, carrier and serial number -- this will help me investigate. Please make sure that the options under Settings > System > Motorola Privacy are on as well, and let me know (just reply here) if it's okay for me to look at your apps to see if they are a source of problems.

See here for the instruction. Thanks.

Best regards,
Rich
