Hi everyone, I understand your concerns. We did stop the update while we fine-tune some things on our end. There is no reason to return your phones or do any troubleshooting. Once we're ready to start again, you'll get notified of the update on your device.

If you scroll down the following link you will find the above statement from Motorola Tom : https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/forums/v3_1/forumtopicpage/board-id/Moto_Z2_Force/thread-id/1170/page/3

I hope you can get of from your high horse now. ? Except for price, speed, and coverage your phone company is far superior.

Moto has also been pretty silent about what is going on

They gave that post,  which was cool, but other than that, practically nothing

I wonder what kind of relationship Lenovo/Motorola has with T-MOBILE. It certainly does not reflect well on T-MOBILE that both Verizon and Sprint had all the monthly updates and patches. I think Lenovo/Motorola can carry some of the blame but suspect that T-MOBILE should shoulder a larger proportion than just washing their hands in innocence.

Not sure why you are so charged up about making it a carrier v. carrier thing, but whatever floats your boat.  I'm just pointing out that TMobile may not be as innocent as you think in this matter.

As far as I know, yes. It is a great price for this phone.

If you manage to look further up this thread you will clearly see that I never thought they were innocent.

I was hoping to get some reaction from Lenovo/Motorola as they have been quiet since the post I mentioned.

Hopefully people who search T-MOBILE and patch updates will have something to ponder when they find this thread. I think it is a general problem with T-MOBILE and phone updates.

Believe me if it was not for the overseas service provided by T-MOBILE included with their plan, I may have moved to another provider by now.

That is great for you. T-Mobile however says this is Moto's issue as they push the patches. So the problem lies with Moto and is not being fixed.

Well, when I "manage" to look up in the thread, the above post is what I see.  I realize you've now backtracked from that postion, but I think we can all acknowledge that the carriers each have unique strengths and weaknesses without delving into a larger "my carrier is better than your carrier" pointless argument that you seem primed for.  My original point, and the point I am still making, is that for whatever reason one of TMobile's weaknesses is updating the Z2 Force.
