Most things are gone but I still have group texting issues.

Hmmmm....never had a group messaging issue. Is this with 3rd part messaging apps? I use the stock messaging app which may be why I don't have this issue. I use the stock browser, launcher and messaging apps now. I just believe this leads to a more stable system in the long run. The stock launcher now allows you to see app info and other things directly from the icon like in many 3rd part launchers. No looking back!!!

Actually, it doesn't really bother me. They fix that with 8.1 anyway. I prefer to stay away from 3rd party apps unless absolutely necessary. These are the #1 source of battery drain and erratic system behavior.

Ok, I looked up this issue and it appears this is related to wifi and T-mobile. I'm on T-mobile but I'm rarely on wifi including at home since I have the unlimited plan. This must be why I don't see the issue.

Any reports of non T-Mobile texts not coming through on stock messenger?

I've found the only way I get non-T-Mobile texts is use a third party text app like Textra instead.

Having the same issue here after the 8.0 update. Can send but not receive sms. Works on my digits line tho.
