What's the difference between a SPN5970A Motorola Turbo Power and a SPN5968A Turbo Power

2019-09-25, 22:39 PM

Hello, I'm about to buy a new Turbo Power, I know the SPN5970A with C cable is the one, but I found places where they sell another reference as if it were the original, it is SPN5968A. I want to know what kind of charger is that one, and if is the same as the SPN5970A, because on the outside it looks the same. The SPN5968A is a pirate charger?

Thanks in advance

I could be wrong but I think the SPN5968A charger was shipped with phones that had a Micro USB charging port (Moto X Force, X Pure, Motorola Droid Turbo, Turbo 2, Maxx2, etc.).  And the SPN5970A charger was shipped with phones that have a USB-C charging port (Z2, Z3, G7, etc.).  I believe both are 15W wall chargers and probably the same specs inside.  I think the main difference is what cable is shipped with the charger. If you have a Z2 Force you definitely want one with a USB-C cable and not a Micro USB.
