You might have a quicker response/fix for your customers if you would either:

1. Purchase the customer's phone and router from them and have them shipped to your lab

or

2. Send them a device that would log the necessary information and have them plug it into their network

Either of these could be done fairly quickly and you could still work with / wait on people on the forums while this process is going on in the background.

This is also a problem with my Z2 Force. I have updated everything as post suggests. WiFi just keeps dropping on phone. Everything else (the other 17 devices on my WLAN) work fine except this phone please fix. Router is Linksys WRT1900AC.

I sent you a PM with details on how to capture the logs needed.

Thanks

New fun fact. Recently my Bluetooth has started disabling itself randomly.

I'm not on Verizon; I'm on AT&T, but I'm having the same issues with wifi.

This is *THE WORST* phone wifi I've ever experienced. Especially for a new, out-of-the-box flagship phone.

I've owned this phone for less than one week and I would describe it as unreliable, and almost unusable.

Based on the timeline from this thread and seemingly lax effort to replicate/troubleshoot on the part of the Motorola staff, I'm ready to return this phone for something else. Heck, at this point, I'm even considering an LG.

What I am curious about is if she goes through the process to collect the logs will she actually get a paycheck from Moto as well as she is essentially doing their job for them?

Hell, at this point I'm thinking we all should be getting some nice care packages from our friends at Lenovo. My first post in this thread was on 10/9. That is some B.S.

It all depends on whether Moto actually learned anything from the multinational VW scandal.  The main lesson of course is that you can't sell a product knowing that it will not perform the way you promised it would and then piss on people when they complain that it doesn't.  VW learned this lesson well.  When all was said and done I ended up with one check for $1500, another for $5,300, and a gift card for $500.  Because of this I actually ended up purchasing another VW afterwards.  Companies that can competently take care of their user base will survive, those who don't won't.

Occurred around 10:45 eastern standard

Just got the phone today. Without WiFi, it will likely go back tomorrow.

Including the extra one I got for my daughter's Christmas present.
