what headset do you have?  I got a new job that will invovle working from home and travel, so I will be having some confernce calls on the Z2 Force

never had a headset before for a cell phone, just used Plantronics on a desktop

I have these http://www.htc.com/us/accessories-b/#!pid=htc-u11&acc=jbl-reflect-aware-c-earphones

They sound great, I think the noise cancelling etc is improving via updates, but I have been told that i am quiet based on where the mic is.

Edit: they do use your battery even if you aren't using them so I suggest unplugging them if you aren't using them
