I was having some rapid battery drop issues with and without the power pack mods attached. Worse when I used my fast wireless charger but the battery dropped quickly as soon as charging was stopped. I did the calibration reset which helped a little. Then I decided to try a trick I used to do with my older LG phone; turn the phone off with the turbo charge connected. let it sit 5 to 10 minutes off and charging. Reboot the phone. When it is fully functional disconnect the charger. Following this regimen I am getting 6-7 hours before the internal battery drops to 80%  I must tell you I am a very light user but I read all my news with my 3 morning cups of coffee. May make 1 or 2 calls and some light texting during those 6 hours. If I grab the phone off the the charger without doing this I drop to 90% in the 1st hour!

(I have had this phone since December and only started seeing this issue after the recent moto mod power pack update)

good luck & God Bless,

Vince

Let me see what I can do. May I ask how did you calibrate the phone? Can you try charging your phone while in safe mode?

Can you also update your profile with current phone, carrier and serial number -- this will help us investigate. Please make sure that the options under Settings > Motorola Privacy are on as well, and let me know (just reply here) if it's okay for me to look at your apps to see if they are a source of problems.

This problem would happen less often, but now it's literally every time. I charge the phone, and it happens really really quick, I don't know if that's the turbo charge or some "symptom". I unplug, turn on battery save mode, GPS and Bluetooth are always off. With literally no use, screen off, it went from 100% to ~85% in 7 minutes. I noticed that after that, the battery discharge starts to slow down to what I'd normally expect. But at that point, I've already got only ~65% of what should be ~90%. I tried adding the IMEI of my phone to my account, but it shows me a "server" error when I click "Yes". I live and bought the phone in Brazil.

There's also cases where the battery doesn't charge at all, like 1% every half an hour, without use. All of what I said in this post is using the charger that comes in the box. I'm adding a couple of screenshots.

Thanks for sharing the screenshots. May we ask how often does it happen? Have you tried calibrating the battery yet? It's best to do this at night before you go to sleep. This process will reset the battery table and allow the phone to calibrate overnight.

To calibrate the battery, press and hold the Power button until the screen goes dark, about 7-10 seconds. When the screen goes dark, release the Power button and the phone will automatically reboot. Plug the phone in and let it charge overnight, using only the charger that came in the box with the phone. Observe the battery performance within 24 hours.

Also, please update your profile with current phone, carrier and serial number -- this will help us investigate. Please make sure that the options under Settings > Motorola Privacy are on as well, and let me know (just reply here) if it's okay for me to look at your apps to see if they are a source of problems. Need help updating your profile? Haven't tried that yet, thanks. I'll do it later. I've updated my profile already, feel free to take a look.

Also, something else I just noticed: after charging with a car charger to 100% (which was painfully slow), the battery is now completely normal, even better than out of the box, I would say. Maybe there's something wrong with the charger itself? I'll try using the phone for a while and when I get home, I'll use the original charger to see if the quick discharge happens again. If yes, I'll try calibrating, like you told me.

After calibrating the battery, it lasted me over a day of constant use. I then charged it up to 100% and it's performing wonderfully, the problem has been fixed. Thank you :D

Sorry I was busy with some other stuff. My profile is updated and yes please take a look at the apps... the recalibration was a long press restart and then connection to the turbo charger that came with the phone.

That's great news! I'm glad that it worked. Please observe your phone for a while to make sure that it would not recur. I would also recommend rebooting your phone once in a while so as to clear out applications that are still running on the background. - Ella

Thanks for updating your profile. Have you tried booting your phone into safe mode? It Will help us identify if it is an app that is causing this concern.

You are correct. For calibrating the battery, press and hold the Power button until the screen goes dark, about 7-10 seconds. When the screen goes dark, release the Power button and the phone will automatically reboot. Plug the phone in and let it charge overnight, using only the charger that came in the box with the phone. Observe the battery performance within 24 hours.

I would also recommend that you power cycle your device at least once every 24 hours. Power cycling a device will clear its memory, empty its cache and release any AP (app processor) stuck situations, improving its overall performance.

Same here, all of a sudden today I'm getting far less battery efficiency. The main culprit appears to be cell standby but when I look at the details there's barely any usage. I can confirm this started once I began using my new Incipio battery mod and charging with it on over night. I've yet to calibrate. I'll try this tonight and report back.

I read on  GSMarena to clean the cache partition, I did it and things are going good so far. No shut downs on over 12 hours.

I tried both, to recalibrate as well as to clear cache and still the issue persists. I'd hate to have to factory reset but I may not have a choice.
