Why on hell is the cell battery bug still in there? I think ill return my new z2 play tomorrow.

Cell standby eats my battery. Never got any problems with any other on my motorola devices.

My z play1 performs wonderful with the same sim. My moto g5splus eats after same time ~160 mah but the z play2 over ~350mah.

More as 3hours of the active Display.

 

Iam very pissed! Factory resets changes nothing. Battery Celebration (**bleep**) changes nothing.

Many postings here and in other forums bout the bad cell standby... What is wrong with the z play2? 

I want to fix it but nothing helps...

Hi dieorange. I'd like to take a look from my end. Please update your profile with current phone, carrier and serial number -- this will help me investigate. Please make sure that the options under Settings > Motorola Privacy are on as well, and let me know (just reply here) if it's okay for me to look at your apps to see if they are a source of problems.

This is my Account now. You can look on my device. Got poor Signal (2G/3G/4G). Maybe something broken with my Modem on my new Z2 Play?

Maybe you can take a look right now. My battery is now at 10%. Maybe you could find something. 

Edit: with my old z play ive got green bars with my carrier (Vodafone)

I checked the serial number on your profile and it appears to be for a different phone and I couldn't find any information. Please put in the IMEI number of your Moto Z2 Play instead. Go to Settings > About Phone > IMEI number.

Strange. Ive added both IMEI numbers to my device Profil. I could see the (two z2 play devices) z2 play on my Page. Maybe you can write me a PN?

 

Edit:

This IMEI/MEID number is already registered to your account.

 

Edit2: only one/my current z2 play is now in my devices (optin etc).

I delete my other motorola devices from the list.

Can you send the phone's IMEI number to me via a private message instead? I can only see one serial number in your profile which belongs to a different device. It seems that Google Services is one of the problem (at least in my battery usage, more than 20% on it). Any solution?
