Start up failed error

Hi Motorola support , I'm getting start up failed error on my moto z2 play. I took my phone to Lenovo authorised service centre in hassan Karnataka. They were not able to resolve this. Please tell me what should I do from here. If a authorised service centre can't solve software issue, should I really buy Motorola phones in future. Or please provide some resolution or refund for device.

Sorry to hear what you have experienced with the service center. Can you provide more details on this such as the reference number/service request number and why they could not fix your phone? They are really unprofessional and even after 5 days they didn't create any service request and simply returned my phone. I chatted with Motorola whatsup support, they insisted me re submit again. I think that's the only thing left for me I guess.

Were they able to provide you a reference number or a service request number? Send it to me through private message, let me see if I am able to escalate it on my end.

No didn't gave any reference number and simply returned my phone and charged me 100 rs for checking. That's why I told them unprofessional. Now I have to approach them again that's the irony. Sorry Zeke it's really frustrating for me to bother you as well.

Yes Zeke I was contacted by them, but I'm not getting this issue resolved. They are unable to rescue this device using LMSA. Now are insisting a mother board change. Irony is that I bought this device from Motorola for around 150 dollars , now for motherboard replacement I have to pay 250 dollars. Zeke make sure they do something about this. Please insist them to service my device free of cost.

Thanks for your reply. If the service center determined that it's a motherboard failure, it would definitely be ideal to have the phone serviced. However, we have no control over the cost for replacement parts.
