How about one that prints Polaroid Pictures!

How about a rangefinder mod?  For outdoor enthusiasts a laser rangefinder would be a very handy accessory. I know many who would buy this phone just for the rangefinder.

I would just like to see a smaller/thinner battery pack with wireless charging.  1000mah maybe.

Agreed.  But I would even go one step further and say just a stylish Shell Mod (fake wood, ballistic nylon, fake brushed metal, etc.) with no battery whatsoever but is Qi wireless charging compatible.  Many of us that bought the Z series already have wirless Qi chargers form previous phones.  I would love a simple style shell mod with no extra battery bulk that allows the phone to charge on a Qi charger.

Let me get off topic for a second. The JBL mod would be nicer if it had its own app to adjust sound. You know like bass and treble and all that good stuff . Just sayin.

No, please stay on-topic. Moved to proper thread.

Please do not PM me - if you have issues, search the forums for threads on your topic and post there, or start a new thread. Thanks!

Re: Ideas for additional moto mods

I would like to have a coupling (extension) mod where i can use two (existing) mods  at one go. I have a projector mod and JBL speaker mod. I will not be able to use bot at once. I am projecting a movie and the speaker output is from phone which is  not audible for bigger room and we will not be able to enjoy the show. Or Speaker and Battery mod etc.

Thanks

Sri

I have the Idea that will take the prize.

After carefully considering the market this phone is drawing, I considered what the consumer wants. Its really simple, and rather cost-effective.

I however, am not a developer, and would like to partner up with one that can take my idea and make it a reality. 50/50.

Who is down?

First thing's first - extra battery power is always something I think needs to be included if it is feasible (size taken into consideration as well).

Universal Remote Control - I wish I was a developer, or had the means to develop the mod, because I'd go do it.  But here - if anyone who can is reading this, take it, run with it, team up with Logitech and reinvent their Harmony Remote Control into a mod.

Diabetic clinic - blood glucose test kit, blood pressure test, etc.  I can see diabetics buying this if it isn't too bulky - something that can test, has all the items integrated, easy to use, always with you.

Re: Ideas for additional moto mods

My largest complaint with the Moto Z Force is that I cannot use my Otterbox Defender case and mods at the same time. I'd recommend creating a moto mod / accessory that has the ability for extra screen and sides protection, and a soft rubber/hard plastic shell that wraps around the edges of the phone and whatever standard mod is being used. For example, the Hasselblad camera: the screen protector layer is placed on the front of the phone, camera on the back. The mod case snaps over the protector and edges of the camera by sliding on from the top and bottom of the phone, snapping together in the middle. This would prevent the camera from coming off accidentally, help keep the screen scratch free, and prevent damage to the phone from side-on impacts.
