System update failed - November 13, 2018

I received notice of an update downloaded and proceded to install it.  When it was done I had a message under System Update Status "Software not updated to OCL27.7...

There was no indication that it would self-correct and I've not been able to download the update again.  How can I get my system update properly installed?

That seems to happen from time to time, where it displays as not updated but it really did update successful.  Is your actual System Version correct and displaying the newest version?

It does look like it actually failed to run.  That looks like the old Build Number and old Security level.  Have you rebooted since it failed to run and tried to check for updates again?

I restart the phone at least once a day. I've tried checking for updates many times.

Could you please update your profile with current phone, carrier and serial number -- this will help me investigate. Please make sure that the options under Settings > Motorola Privacy are on as well, and let me know (just reply here) if it's okay for me to look at your apps to see if they are a source of problems.

I gave up on this pos phone and retired it to the shelf.  Bought a OnePlus 6T and it is GREAT!

I haven't received any updates. My last update Failed November 13, 2018.
