Re: No voice when calling Samsung phones

Hi Jp243,

Thanks for posting here. I'm thinking if there's a cellular network concern. Is this issue intermittent? Have you checked if you have a good signal during the call? Also, if the person on the other line has a good reception too? Try testing the microphone on Device Help app > Fix > Hardware >  Microphone. Let me know. Thanks.

Betreff: phone audio: I can hear them, they can't hear me

This is still present for me.

I can always hear the other person but they can't hear me.

If I enable and then disable again VoLTE in the settings it works for one call that i can be heard, afterwards I need to do the whole thing again otherwhise I can't be heard.

Is there a fix for this, it's quite annoying...

Hi Paraglider,

Thank you. Have you tried testing the device help app? Does it happen to specific contacts or regardless as long as they're using Samsung?

Yes I tested the device with the device help app.

Everything is fine.

It affects all calls no matter if it's Samsung or any other device.

Today I got a landline call and same problem.

I can't be heard.

We also need a bug report for us to further look into this. Please follow the steps below when you experience this again and include the physical location where it happened.

Go to Settings ->Developer options -> Enable USB debugging > Toggle On
Enable Settings -> Developer options -> Enable Bug Report shortcut > Toggle On
Once the issue is reproduced: Go to Settings -> Developer options -> Click on take bug report or Press Power button and then choose Bug Report from the Power down menu.
Wait for some time until the bug report is collected. It takes around 3 to 4 minutes to collect the Bug Report.
Then upload the BugReport to your personal Google Drive and then share the link to the BugReport on the forums in a reply.
Provide observations of what you saw happen right before the bug report was taken. Please indicate the local time when you observed the behavior.

Thank you.
