Changing "OK Google" phrase breaks compatibility with Android Auto

Hello Moto,

I own a Seat Ibiza with Android Auto support.

I tried to change the "OK Google" phrase using Moto app, but after I did it, when I speak the new phrase, my phone handles the voice command instead of my car.

Don't know if this is a Moto, Seat or Google issue though Smiley Happy

Any hints ?

Thanks anyway for making quality phones

Re: Changing "OK Google" phrase breaks compatibility with Android Auto

Hi!

I think that Android Auto is more of it's own entity when built into the car as yours is.

So, changing the phrase will only effect the phone. Your cars phrase cannot be changed as it is part of the built in Android Auto of your car.

I have a Jeep and connect my phone through BT, my Jeep doesn't have Android Auto, just BT. This all works through my phone, allowing me to make changes to the phone that effect the entire system.

In your case, as mentioned above, you have your phone as a system (Moto Voice) and your car as a system (Android Auto).

I'm not sure there is much that can be done with this. I also do not have any experience with built in Android Auto.

Thanks,

J
