On my Moto Z2 Play, I have the fingerprint sensor LOCK screen feature on - tap to lock. After Oreo update, it is very slow to respond. You have to hold your finger just right for a extend period just to get it to lock the screen. It use to be very responsive - just a quick tap. I wanted to turn the feature off and back on to see if it would fix it, but I can't find the setting anywhere.
Does this feature still exist after Oreo update?
If so, where is it located?
If not, please have them add it back!

Thanks for reaching out. As per checking, there is still a toggle option for the Fingerprinter sensor. Although this is on the Moto G6 device with the same Android Oreo software. Can you please check if you have these settings on your device? Kindly go to Settings > Security & Location > Under Device Security, tap the Gear icon on the right side part of the Screen > Enable Fingerprint sensor can lock phone. Please check for the screenshot below.
