Why Moto gives an average quality headset even for premium phones?

2016-12-30, 8:35 AM

Motorola gives the usual average quality white headset. My ears started paining after 30 minutes of using that headset.

Motorola should consider giving Good Headsets atleast for premium phones above 20,000 INR.

Prpbably you shouldstop complaining. People in other countries do not even get a headphone bundled with Moto Z Play (or any Moto X Phone)

I got a Moto Z Unlocked in from Amazon.com (I live in the USA) and it did not come with a headset or earbuds.

Can someone please confirm if it's true that they do not come with earbuds?

Moto z in usa does not come with headphones.  Some regions do ship with them.

Since headphones are are a very personal choice, if users want better ones, they pick their own

I ordered mine directly from Moto Maker (US) and there are no headphones with the phone.  A free pair of headphones is the last thing I consider when buying a new phone.  If people don't like the free ones, there are plenty of other headphones available.

It's becoming the norm recently. Just like how Samsung is giving away a set of earbud headphones that are considered very high quality, and I think they retail around $200USD. It's just like how in other countries these devices come with the actual USB cable to be plugged in to another device like a computer. That should be a expectation, and should be considered a necessity when creating and selling devices. Not to mention USB-C cables are overpriced...
