Re: MOTO Z EXTREME BATTERY DRAIN

Look how my battery went down from 100% to 0% within 10 minutes. The phone is totally unusable.

How did it get to be like that? I just have bad battery drain (not that bad, but not that good either) and the hard reset sudden drop in battery. That's really unacceptable.

If you did a factory data reset and tested BEFORE installing or restoring ANY apps, and problem persists, then service/repair/replace is next step.

My Z is fine, but if i had to guess, those with problems have a battery issue.

Re: MOTO Z EXTREME BATTERY DRAIN

Got to love these forum mods.  I guess if I wanted to destroy a once-great brand, I'd be doing the same thing though.

Which Z do you have? Also do you charge your phone to 100% and drain it to like 2%?

GSM Z (no carrier affiliation) - I charge to 100% but rarely drain it to 2% - usually charge at about 20%. Got other Z phones too.

Re: MOTO Z EXTREME BATTERY DRAIN

I did all sort of restoring and nothing helped. I am out of warranty. So, sending for a repair is not an option. It's only 1 year 4 months old phone.

So you'd say don't drain it that low? I want to maximize as much usage as I can get. What does accubattery say about the percentage health you have left?
