Make and receive call issue in moto z after updating android 8.0. oreo

I m using moto z after updating android 8.0.0 Oreo ,I m facing call failed and try another methode, plz help to resolve this issue

Hiho,

Have you tried clearing the application cache and date?

Follow the steps below to see if it will help you:

Step 1: Go to settings in your android Oreo 8.0 devices
Step 2: Tap Apps & notifications
Step 3: Tap App info
Step 4: Tap app name want to clear cache in Oreo
Step 5: Tap Storage
Step 6: Tap Clear cache
Step 7: Tap Clear data

8.0 Oreo update Contact Inbound/Outbound Issue

After update in Android Oreo 8.0 my Moto z can't connect calls most of the time & if my call is connected then other person can't hear me and call duration is not start..this same issue is in Android 7.0 when I firstly update in nougat 7.0...please fix this soon as soon possible.

Hi Ashvinichandel,

 

Sorry to know about that. I suggest we test this on safemode to confirm if this has something to do with your third party applications.

 

To Enable Safe Mode
1. Press and hold the Power button until Power off comes up on the screen.
2. Touch and HOLD Power off on the screen until reboot to safe mode appears.
3. Touch OK when Reboot to safe mode appears
4. Phone will reboot and Safe Mode will appear in bottom left corner

 

Also, please update your profile with current phone, carrier and serial number -- this will help me investigate. Please make sure that the options under Settings > Motorola Privacy are on as well, and let me know (just reply here) if it's okay for me to look at your apps to see if they are a source of problems.

Dear Sir 

   I do that...i put my phone on safe mode and i will try again ND again to connect call bt problem is still available.

No sir bcoz last time when I update in nougat 7.0 i face this issue nd I contact to my network Carrier help center..  they told me that there is problem with your mobile software....not with network..bt for my satisfaction I will contact with my network Carrier help center!

Hi Ashvinichandel,

 

This is actually odd. Please try to reset the preferences of your application. Settings > Apps > Tap 3 vertical dots > Show system > Tap 3 vertical dots > Reset app preferences. After that kindly turn off the phone and turn it back on for the changes to take effect. Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Hi Ashvinichandel,

 

Let's reset the network settings. Please go to Settings > Backup and Reset > Network Setting Reset > Reset Settings. Once done kindly restart the phone for the changes to take effect. Please let me know that fix the issue. Thanks!
