I am experiencing the same stuff. It's just very frustrating when I've been making bigbig payme on this thing I can't believe this.
I can't figure out where the answer is that n how to fix it. I have not found the begginning of it.

Unfortunately, there is no fix. Assuming you have the same charging problem that most have described here, even replacing your battery will not resolve the issue.

Wow no fix. It's been so bad that now I have to carry a power pack constantly plugged into my phone. Such a pain in the___.
It's like the worst nun chucks ever.
THIS SHOULD FALL UNDER THE LEMON LAW COVERAGE. ITS ONLY I DONT KNOW.... AROUND $600.00 piece of sh... uh... Equipment.

My Moto Z XT1635 is having battery issue. It turns off because of a dead battery but there's at least 70% of battery left. When I charge in wall with Moto charger it starts back up with a 70% battery. If I do anything more than text or talk the battery will die in a matter of minutes. I've cleaned cache, reset and deleted apps. I'm out of warranty and am afraid of what it will cost to send in for repairs or would it be better to go in debt for another phone. Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, there is no fix for this issue (even battery replacement doesn't fix) so you're going to need a new phone. Maybe an older Pixel model will be on sale?

I have a Moto Z Play which is doing the same thing. Mine is just two years old which is when I usually got a new phone with a new contract. Now, with no new free phones I am stuck with having to buy a new one if it so that mine is not repairable. It sure seems from what I have read that these phones either came with a short life battery or they were damaged by the 7.1.1 Update. My wife has the same phone and she doesn't have the problem and her's is six months older than mine. I am leaning on replacing mine with the Moto Z4, but my wife said I should wait for the next generation phone. I see a lot of deals on the present generation phones as it seems that all the providers are trying to unload them before the 5 G's flood the market. However, now I can not trust Lenovo to sell a phone that will die or not work in short order. I am still surprised that there is no fix for these phones. To save their reputation Lenovo should recall them.

Ya the same thing here my boyfriend had 0 problems with his. Mine was PERFECT before that happened. I wish I could get the moto z play every time from now on. I did exactly what you were thinking and I got the moto z4... It's pretty ok, nothing compared to z play though. Maybe try a different Motorola.
