My Moto Z recently gets 3 problems:
About My Moto Z:
Software Channel: retapac
Build No.: OPL27.76-51
Updated to Android 8.0
Details of Problems
3. Battery (just to inform, I don't think it can be solved here)
Attempts I have Made
Video: Attempt to connect to public Wi-Fi
Video: Attempt to connect to home Wi-Fi
Photo: Disaster on the Battery
A bit disappointed
It was a really good phone.
Unfortunately, the capacity of battery is too small that the battery will get old very soon.
Also, it seems that Moto is now having insufficient resources on software updates.

I'm sorry to learn that you have quite a few challenges with your phone. The troubleshooting steps you have done are all correct but did not yield any positive results. This led me to think that it might be a hardware concern, especially the battery. In this regard, the last troubleshooting step to do is factory data reset, without automatic restore. Kindly backup all your data and perform factory data reset. I would also advise you to remove your Google account from the phone before proceeding with it. The steps are here: https://support.motorola.com/us/en/solution/MS111912
If you already did a factory data reset and tested the phone BEFORE installing or restoring ANY apps, and the problem persists, then service/repair is next step.

These phone descretely conceal failed batteries. Looking feom the side across the screen you will notice a subtle bulging. This is a root cause to many issues with the Z phones (and most others as well). Motorola/Lenovo is caught up in the paper thin trend and this leaves the new volatile batteries susceptable to damage. Some phones worse than others replace the battery and wipe the phone; it will be back to normal. GL

I would just like to confirm are both bluetooth and wifi aren't connecting to any devices nor not seeing any nearby devices? Please let us know thanks.

Could you please further explain? Are both wifi and bluetooth won't detect any nearby devices or it can detect devices but it won't connect? Thanks.

I dont think it was hardware issue since most of your forum about moto z had same problem which were bluetooth & wifi error, battery drainage so fast...etc. I do hope Lenovo update their patch to help solve this kind of problem that happen to most of moto z users ASAP

I understand that there are alike issues in regards to this, however, in this case, the issue could be the antenna of the device already. Let's try performing factory data reset to confirm any software issue, here's the link to the instruction. If it still fails then a repair would be our next option. Thanks.
