Re: Moto Z - extreme battery drain after 7.1.1 update

I'm just checking in after having given up on my Moto Z Droid due to battery drain almost 2 years ago. I can't believe Motorola never addressed the issue. A lawsuit really should have been filed.

Yesterday I sold my Moto Z; after 8 months since battery was replaced with an after market one and more than 200 charges ( following Accubatery 20/80 % rule), it was still 100% battery health. I will still have the possibility to follow this phone as I sold it to a friend; hope will run without major issues as I manage to have for 8 months...

Today I had the chance to see again my old Moto Z

After replaced the screen due to an accident, still has the aftermarket battery on 89% according to Acubatery; quite good to hear that my friend doesn't have issues with battery, as I was quite "stressed" about this...

I'm having some real battery issues with my moto Z. The battery drains extremely fast, like more than 1% a minute when I use it, and even very quickly when I don't use it. It also randomly shuts off at low percentages, sometimes as high as 50%, and when I try to switch it back on again, it either won't turn back on at all, myloweslife or have like 1% battery left. However, if I plug it back in, it will usually have approximately the same battery % as when it switched off. Has anybody experienced similar issues, or got a solution for this?
