Un-Official Nougat (Android 7.x) News here

And so it begins. We begin our wait for the next version of Android. It took Motorola almost 9 months to update the Droid Turbo to Lollipop. Let's hope the wait is much shorter for us.

Zero official word from Lenovorola on the subject so far. Am I surprised? Nope.

Moto Z Family and Moto G4 getting Nougat in Q4

Good news for us. Even after the recent massive layoffs we may be getting Nougat before the year's end. I'm not getting too excited though. Us Droid Turbo users were promised Marshmallow by Moto a year ago and we still have nothing to show for it. But maybe the Z will be different, we shall see.

Nougat confirmed by lenovorola for 4th quarter 2016 Smiley Happy should be seeing it soon on the retail sold devices of the Z series at least. Guessing carrier locked devices will be seeing the update to 7.0 in first and second quarter 2017

Re: Nougat soak test!

I'm aware of the confidentiality of participating in the soak tests. Unfortunately, I wasn't invited to participate in this one and posted a link to somebody else this is and did post about it.
