Re: Z4 case compatible with Moto Mods?

That looks good. I tried to cut one down but failed. Looks like you did a great job! I am truly hoping that one is released soon! This is crazy to not have one available when a phone is released.

Wow, looks like it works with all mods, minus the 360 cam! Very cool! I'm going to buy a couple and see if I can cut one right for that mod...

BTW, was the tape link intended? I'm confused...

Yes, it keeps the sides secure otherwise tpu is too soft.

Looks great! How did you cut the back out? Xacto?

Lol Xacktly!!!!! Clever clever!!!!!

I am going to try your method I do believe! Thanks for the tips! I will do a little more searching today when I have time but I think your method is the best bet right now.

I just checked and Verizon (and Amazon and eBay too) still do not have any Moto Z4 bumpers. I chat with a Verizon rep every once and a while just to try to put a little bug in their ears (not sure if this does any good lol). But I always get the same response. They send me a link to the current cases they have available. I always respond the same way. I say the cases you offer are useless if you own any mods that you want to use frequently/daily. I always say that a bumper for the Moto Z4 is in high demand. I don't know if they will make one or not. But I guess we may have to make up our own for now until Verizon gets their act together. If they ever do, that is!

Also, punch card, did the case you ordered have a soft almost rubbery plastic back? Or a pretty hard plastic back? Just wondering how easy it was to cut the back off. I'm a little nervous.

The one I ordered had soft tpu edge and hard see through plastic backing. Was really easy to cut it with sharp blade. Took maybe 5 minutes.

On my 3rd attempt I made a pretty decent case. I got one that was soft TPU all over, and simply used sharp scissors to modify it. Even cut a notch so the 360 camera will mount correctly. I'm pretty happy.
