**bleep**? Really? It's probably a soak test. Aren't you supposed to keep that quiet?

(Checks for update...) ?

Not a soak test and nothing to keep quiet since I haven't signed up for any beta or tests. THIS IS OFFICIAL ‼️ ?

Awesome! Still 7.1.1 with August patches on T-Mobile. This is great news, though!

Actually that's not true. I'm on the latest update from November, NCX26.7. The date does still show August and didn't get updated for some reason. Here's proof NCX26.7 is the November update: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-35970

The fact that 26.7 was RELEASED in November doesn't necessarily mean that it includes November security updates that everyone else got.  They could be the September or October updates that were delayed & not released until November.  My understanding is that there was a release in September that was immediately withdrawn.  Maybe they've finally fixed whatever was wrong with the September updates & they were finally released in November.

The only truly stupid question is the one you SHOULD have asked - but DIDN'T.

I'm thinking we have the latest and greatest and the update didn't change the security patch dates properly. I'm going to call T-mobile advanced support later. The first tier is pretty useless but the higher level helped me on call audio issues and I'm sure they can verify if it's the latest and greatest.

That is good to know. It didn't make sense to be that far behind. Thanks for the information.

I talked to their advanced tech support last week.  The guy I talked to had no idea that there is a problem with their updates, or that they aren't releasing updates promptly.  He said he'd check into it and get back to me... and that's the last I heard from him.
