Morphie battery mod

2018-06-16, 1:38 AM

After the Moto mod update my morphie battery mod quit charging. It gets to 94% and sits there, I unplugged the charger then I get 0% mod not charging the phone. Now I reset, and still the same. Is there a way to roll back the Moto mod software update. I tried this mod on another new phone not updated and it worked. Is there a fix for this issue?

i too have a problem after upgrade. juice pack is drained within hours, when attached to phone the button on back will not turn on indicator lights, overall battery life has deteriorated with this update.

i put a brand new juice pack on and it is working now. i think it was just a coincidence that i got the update and the juice pack died. i charged old juice pack up by its self until all lights were lit. without attaching to phone within hour battery was dead. new one is fine and phone battery is still at 80% after 12 hours now.

Hi dave_display_naKryptik1,

Thanks for reporting. I can't say for sure if this is caused by the update can we test this on safe mode?

To Enable Safe Mode

1. Press and hold the Power button until Power off comes up on the screen.

2. Touch and HOLD Power off on the screen until reboot to safe mode appears.

3. Touch OK when Reboot to safe mode appears

4. Phone will reboot and Safe Mode will appear in bottom left corner

5. If the issue does not remain in safe mode, this indicates a third party application installed from the Play Store is causing the problem.

6. Restart the device to get out of safe mode and uninstall any recently installed applications.

*** Begin by looking for specific application types such as launchers, task killers or anti-virus apps.

Please let me know. Thanks.

Best regards,
Rich

Hi dave_display_na,

Thanks for confirming. Have you tested the mod using another phone, just to see if it will work?

No don't have another device. Lights on back of mod are out when not connected to phone.
