Re: Moto Z2 Force wifi issues after Android 9 Pie update

2019-09-10, 18:24 PM

Just to report, the problem came back. I've disabled digital wellbeing 5-6 days ago, and it was all good untill this morning when it started disconnecting from wifi again. I did a network reset and restart and for now everything works ok. So, it's not a permanent fix.

Well, after couple of days after disabling digital wellbeing and rebooting the problem also came back in my case.

A reboot helps for a half of a day or so. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

@Motorola support:any news regarding a fix?

Disabling well being app. Clear storage cache.

Disable Battery activity.

Disable chrome app and clear it's cache.

Reboot

Still going strong with solid WiFi speed now all day.

Motorola, where is your support? This is absolutely poor performance!

I waited more than a year for an update which fixes the BT bugs in 8.0.0 and now that it is fixed WiFi is broken which is even worse.

I know I should be buying one of the new models but instead I would like to have a very basic standard functionality working. For many years I sticked to Motorola devices but this is history.

Man, I am so upset and cannot believe that you leave the whole world of z2 force users alone. Do Something!
