I just went out and got the verizon branded screen protector and it has no issues sticking to the screen.

my top layer started to come up by going in and out of my pocket, i have seen the info about reccomended screen protector and how its plastic and may scratch easy... But even then it seems like it was way to easy to blemish even a finger nail can blemish the surface not trying to by any means... Any way a top layer started to come up so i then thought ohhh that must be it i didn't peel off the protective coating not remembering there was the verizon one i originally peeled when i unboxed the phone. So... what shall i do? I love these devices and was going to be ok with the blemish factor.

I contacted ZAGG concerning the issues the Verizon rep had getting the protector to stick and the problem with one of the corners:

"With the InvisibleShield's we have had an issue with the adhesive of the InvisibleShield. However, our warehouse was able to take care of the InvisibleShield's and have had the error corrected immediately."

If you also purchased a ZAGG and are having problems with it, register for the warranty and get a hold of their support to give them the opportunity to make things right. That will also ensure everything is fixed correctly and there are no additional/remaining issues they need to address for the Z2 Force.

Only a week old, and the Verizon rep installed a ZAGG on mine. Yes its registered with ZAGG. I see only a tiny spot in left bottom, like a small bubble so I will probably have an issue as time goes on. Taking the protectors off and on scare me a little with an already plastic screen.

Re: Z2 Force Screen

2017-11-01, 7:48 AM

I've already contacted Motorola and had my Z2 replaced due to excessive scratches to the screen.

Yesterday I received my new phone and took it directly to Verizon to have them install a screen protector on the replacement Z2 prior to any use.

The Verizon associate picked out a $30 screen protector to install on it. This one came with the guide for the phone that had the protector affixed to the guide for error free alignment and cleaning solution.

The associate attempted to adhere the glass protector and the bottom right corner would not adhere. He went through 3 boxes and same results.

After the second one was removed I looked closely at the screen. My initial thought of the problem was correct. The lower right corner of the phone screen is defective. The screen slopes downward at this corner. There's just no way most glass type ones will stick without being able to flex.

Just before I boxed up my original Z2 with the scratched screen issue, I looked at the screen closely to see if the same issue existed. To my surprise if did! Motorola has a quality control problem with their super soft shatter proof screen. Their mold is defective or they purposely placed a slope to the lower right screen corner for unknown reasons.

If you place a straight edge across the screen you will see it better than just trying to eye it. It's sad really. This is not most of the screen protector manufacturers fault or fail in their product for this phone. It's Motorola's fault.

I have already reported this to Motorola today, but I doubt they will do anything to fix the problem. They can send me phone replacement after phone replacement and the same issue will be present unless they actually have their phone manufacturer correct the issue.

I hope this information helps all those who think it's the screen protector manufacturers fault. It's definitely not.

James

Mine is also starting to lift on the top right corner. Not being able to get a new top layer is ridiculous. What are we supposed to do to correct the issue?

Petition for a free resolution from Motorola for everyone that is experiencing issues with that layer peeling.
