StartUp failed error, can we rely on Motorola support ?

2021-04-20, 6:54 AM

Hi I'm using moto z2 play , I'm not able boot or hard reset my phone. It's showing start up failed error. I took this phone to authorised service centre but they are saying it needs mother board replacement, which is not affordable and we can buy new divide with that much cost. I have seen several YouTube videos stating it's just a software issue and can be flashed. But authorised service centre has denied me.

Has anybody faced similar issue and have any suggestions please reply.

I have lost my trust on my favourite phone brand Motorola. Just after three years a smartphone can't get software issue resolved, one should think before buying Motorola phones

For reinstalling the software I can recommend the Lenovo Motorola Rescue and Smart Assistant which should be able to load the proper firmware. However, if the repair service detected an error with the hardware why do you think it is something else? Good luck with whatever you choose to do.

There are videos on YouTube where this issue is resolved with software flash using rescue tool. It ends up in error all the time after 100 % rescue. I don't know how a big giant company can deny me after selling their premium device two years back.

Zeke they are returning my device already, I don't know what you are now trying to escalate. Please do something about this immediately and get yourself involved with service team in India
