Stuck on boot up screen

2020-03-17, 8:37 AM

So my phone froze up this morning and does not reboot, it gets in boot screen and stays there.

i see "your device did not startup succesfully", error linux boot failed.

I have downloaded the software repair assistant on PC and even that doesnt help.

XT1710-10, the phone is no longer under manufacturer warranty

Hi Chetansha,

Thanks for posting. After you've downloaded the LMSA tool, did you perform the "Rescue" function? Have you encountered any error messages while performing it? Please let me know.

Best regards,
Mike

Yes I did perform the rescue option, it gets stuck at 32% and then I get message that it failed. I have given the hand set to Motorola authorised service center, even they aren't able to repair it. Same issue. Gets half way thru and fails. All my msgs, photos, gone with it.

Hi Chetansha,

Unfortunately, in that case we recommend submitting the device to service to manually flash the software.
