Re: turn off haptic feedback fingerprint sensor

Haptic feedback should be adjustable SYSTEM WIDE. What works best for doesn't for the next person. Give us an intensiin slider for every vibration, from One Button Nav, to touch vibration. And while you at it, one button Nav, needs more customization options. Like home should be a double tap.

The only way I know of to toggle the FPS feedback is with the do not disturb feature.  When DND is on, there is no haptic feedback to speak of.

That's not correct, haptic is enforced even with do not disturb on.

How is it incorrect when what I say is exactly true for me?  When I turn on DND on my Z2 Play there is absolutly no haptic feedback on the FPS.

Well, maybe different versions, for I've tested on mine and it indeed doesn't turn haptic off.
Nevertheless, the point is both of us should have the option to turn haptic off, aside of 'do not disturb' mode.

By the way...  my DND is set to "Total Silence", so maybe yours isn't.

You're right in both notes.

Choosing 'total silence' kills haptic. Thanks.

Also, my plain text was blocked at first because of 'suspicious html code' or the like... lol...

It can be done . i was able to get mine perfect with xposed modules. Altgough im not suggesting anyone take my path, i only mention it so you know its not a hardware or baked in feature.

i was able to disable vibration for unlock, and greatly reduce it for navigation down to a very soft and quick thump. it only full power buzzes for bad finger unlocks.

its a great improvement.. one im sure will improve my already fantastic bsttery life
