What does the icon on the A1 status bar that looks like a slanted tablet with bars on the side mean?

<H2>Question</H2> <p>I have a question about what the icon located next to the Wi-Fi indicator on the A1 status bar means. It looks like a slanted tablet with bars on the side.</p> <H2>Answer</H2> <p>That icon, as seen in the screen grab below, means that the tablet is on "Silent but Vibrate" mode.</p> <p><img src="http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/7007i876563D3ACA32FE8/image-size/original?v=mpbl-1&amp;px=-1" border="0" alt="bar.jpg" title="bar.jpg" align="center" /></p> <p>This is attributable to the use of the Gingerbread version of Android, in which some phone icons/ artifacts were carried over into the A1 tablet.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>You can get rid of it by pressing the the volume up button while on your tablet's main screen.</p> <p><br />For information on what the various icons means, please refer to our guide <a href="http://download.lenovo.com/UserFiles/UserGuide/en/User's%20guides%20and%20manuals/A1-07/A1-07_EN_%20HTML/EN%20No%20scroll/chapter01.html#c1_1" target="_blank">here</a>.</p>
