A485 bios lacks proper IOMMUV2 Support ?

I'm unable to use amdkfd in linux.

During boot it says:

kfd kfd: error required iommu flags ats 0, pri 0, pasid 0

kfd kfd: Error initializing iommuv2

kfd kfd: device 1002:15dd NOT added due to errors

iommuv2 is needed for kfd which is needed for opencl support.

Is the feature not enabled in the bios ?

Will this require an updated bios from lenovo ?

Re: A485 bios lacks proper IOMMUV2 Support ?

adding iommu=pt to the linux cmdline will allow the iommu to load correctly and should not have any bad side effects when running ang virtualizations
