Active Pen on 900s works on Linux!!!!

2017-04-08, 8:37 AM

I have a Lenovo Yoga 900S-12ISK, and I have purchased an active pen. Surprinsily it works out of the box on Linux with Debian Stretch.

I have tested it with Gimp with the different pressure levels you will have diffenrent opacity while drawing.

To enable open Gimp, Then Edit -> Input Devices , you will see a device (ELAN Pen Pen (0)). Simply change mode to screen and It is ready to use.

There is another draw application that is ever simpler than gimp and work directly, it is caller krita, apt-get install krita

Not sure about Ubuntu, On Debian no driver is required. Try opening gimp or Krita as explained on the previous post.
