Dual head (extended mode) on T61 (SLED)

Has anybody been able to set up extended-mode multi-monitoring (dual head) on the T61 with the preloaded SUSE SLED Linux? Can you comment on the setup?

Daniel.

There's lot's of words and terms to describe multiple monitor setups, so perhaps we're talking about different things, but I've used multiple monitors with Linux for many years on several different systems.

Normally, you configure it in Yast-> Hardware->Graphics Card & Monitor->Dual Head Mode.

If your model comes with an NVidia chipset, NVidia's native video driver and package includes monitor and desktop management, where you can adjust your settings on the fly. I recommend downloading it and using it. We use it corporate wide for our T61p models with great success.

Extended desktop works fine on my T61 with PCLOS.
