Has anyone tried the new Fedora 28 on a Thinkpad P70 or similar? Gnome crashes when attaching an external monitor.
It was working with Fedora 27. I am using the default Nouveau NVidia driver. The same problem shows up when running from the live USB install.
I could install the NVidia drivers, but don't really need them, other than to be able to use an external monitor sometimes, (Don't have any games, etc.)
Edit: Now it seems to be working. I switched from the default Wayland to Xorg version of Gnome at login, fixed a problem with a startup application as well as vmware and removed some repositories that were not needed. Not sure what caused the problems.
