Legion 5-15ACH6H cannot change brightness in Linux with intergrated Radeon graphic

2021-06-18, 5:23 AM

Hi. It has been many days since I been trying to solve this. I have read a lot and all solutions seems to work with 5 Pro, but not with my laptop version.

Current solution for 5 Pro (and probably older generation of 5) is to add "amdgpu.backlight=0" to kernel parameter, but no success for me and a few others of owner of the same laptop.

I am aware that Nvidia is working and able to change brightness. But I prefer using iGPU as it uses lower power.

Here I attached the output of "journalctl -b". Hopefully someone with the skills and knowledge can help me.

Thank you.
