P50 Display under Linux

2016-11-22, 10:32 AM

Hello,

I recently brought a Thinkpad P50. I removed windows and installed Linux Mint 18. Everything went fine. When I boot-up the login screen is in an acceptable sized font, but after I logon the size of the cursor, menubar and terminal windows are tiny. Is there a way to increase the size of the display? What I have done is to reduce the resolution using the display utility. But, I was wondering if there's a way to use the full resolution and have the display size increased.

Many thanks,

adil

Have you tried tweak-tools? It can help you rescale the appearance pretty well.

Hello,

thanks for your response. I can try tweaking Cinnamon to see if that improves things.

Hope you have a good Thanksgiving
