Today I attempted to install Ubuntu 12.04 on my new Z570. I used an installation disk. Ubuntu worked fine from it so I installed Ubuntu alongside Windows 7 as a dual boot. However, when I went to the Boot menu, I only had a choice between the hard disk ( no partitions ), the CDDVD drive, and some LAN PCI that appears to be an Ethernet connection. What is the work around for this situation?

The answer would be Ubuntu Boot Repair, which is a GUI-based tool that will solve most of the boot time issues a user would face while dual booting between Windows and Linux.
