Slow UEFI boot on T530-28APR

2019-06-21, 14:34 PM

If I reboot after being in Linux (which is most of the time), the Lenovo boot logo stays there for 30 seconds before the boot loader is shown. The keyboard does not react during that time. I validated that it is not the fault of the boot loader by keep hittint F12 until the BIOS boot menu shows up - which also happens only after 30 seconds.

If I reboot from within Windows 10, the logo vanishes after 1 or 2 seconds. I therefore suspected an ACPI problem (well, I still do), but was not able to get any change with different "acpi_osi" values (tried "Linux", "Windows 2015" and "Windows").

Did anyone here encounter something like that? 30 seconds seems very much like some kind of timeout. Any ideas how I could debug UEFI? I'm open for suggestions.
