T14 AMD: kernel warning “can't derive routing for PCI INT A”

2021-06-08, 15:38 PM

I have a T14 AMD with Ryzen 4750U.

In my logs, I encounter the following warning lines:

kernel: pci 0000:00:00.2: can't derive routing for PCI INT A
kernel: pci 0000:00:00.2: PCI INT A: not connected

I have not encountered a concrete issue that is connected. When Googling, it seems this issue appears for AMD Ryzen 4**** systems, but no solutions come up. It would be nice if this were investigated by Lenovo.

The log lines with some wider context:

kernel: pci 0000:00:00.2: [1022:1631] type 00 class 0x080600

kernel: pci 0000:00:00.2: AMD-Vi: IOMMU performance counters supported
kernel: pci 0000:00:00.2: can't derive routing for PCI INT A
kernel: pci 0000:00:00.2: PCI INT A: not connected

kernel: pci 0000:00:00.2: AMD-Vi: Found IOMMU cap 0x40
kernel: pci 0000:00:00.2: AMD-Vi: Extended features (0x206d73ef22254ade):
kernel:  PPR X2APIC NX GT IA GA PC GA_vAPIC

(That last line is also at the warning level.)
