Not me, but interesting. Half of the changelog is about Intel machines :)

Fn+H/M/L etc only works on Intel, MS stuff is irrelevant for us, and the first

part is about the FW update issues some users faced in 1.32.

The only thing is that security issue which I have no idea what it may be.

Well, actually Fn+H/M/L is relevant. It's an issue I reported.

Just press one of these keys without the update and see what happens. ;)

About new BIOS release:

Anyone can say if there are any changes in the power drain issue??Does the full changelog mention anything about these issues?

No idea, I'm testing S0ix right now.

S0ix ( with friendly help from the kernel to workaround BIOS bugs ), looks more than fine on my P14s.

BIOS 1.34, kernel 5.13.2+patches:

That is 0.32 W/h...

Anyway, I wish someone @Lenovo would help with all that, they should have those machines in the labs.

My P14s turned into a testing/debugging box for BIOS bugs, heh.

Heh, yeah..

I was worried for a minute or two ;)

The box did funny things before securing that BIOS.

Also it hung on first boot, but a power cycle helped and

everything looks fine on P14s.

Any chance this workarounds patches being added to kernel.org ?

Not yet:  Latest commit 745ed17 on Jan 21

But they (or at least part of them) are already backported into 5.13.2 kernel of fedora (currently still updates-candidate)

I am hoping Ubuntu incorporates this also... and Pop!_os follows the "stream"

I don't know much about all this stuff, but the most interesting of the changes seems to be 7b167c4cb48e ("ACPI: PM: Only mark EC GPE for wakeup on Intel systems"). This is part of 5.14-rc1, but for some reason it is not marked as fix for backporting to stable. I asked on the mailing list to see if anyone cares about backporting this.
