I don't know much about all this stuff, but the most interesting of the changes seems to be 7b167c4cb48e ("ACPI: PM: Only mark EC GPE for wakeup on Intel systems"). This is part of 5.14-rc1, but for some reason it is not marked as fix for backporting to stable. I asked on the mailing list to see if anyone cares about backporting this.

Yes but all of them are important. NVME workaround, in fact, two workarounds and still IOMMU broken.

CPU Idle states workaround, amdgpu fixes, and some more.

In the long run, Lenovo has to get serious and fix and/or adapt their BIOS(es).

No idea, I'm testing S0ix right now.

S0ix ( with friendly help from the kernel to workaround BIOS bugs ), looks more than fine on my P14s.

Any chance this workarounds patches being added to kernel.org ?

Most of them are already in into 5.14 ( in the one or other form ), there are still some left,

may not make it into 5.14, but those will be easy to backport.

Not yet:  Latest commit 745ed17 on Jan 21

But they (or at least part of them) are already backported into 5.13.2 kernel of fedora (currently still updates-candidate)

The leftover pmc patches are in the 'maybe to be sent to Linus' or 'maybe 5.15 merge windows' brach of Hans.

They should show up in linux-next.

Can we vote them in or something?

Nope, this is not how kernel development works :).

That's something about s2idle, not s3 sleep, which is what we're interested here. Unless they're related somehow

Correct, those are about S0ix.

However, I'll take S0ix with an average of 0.352 W/h on my P14s over 1.2 to 1.86 W/h on S3 on the same machine.

( with main powerline reset 0.65 - 0.95 W/h )

LLVM working now for the bios update?

Any changes required in turning off secure boot a priori?
