is it normal that the led light indication for suspend gets messed up ? like after waking up from sleep the led falsely blinks indicating its still in suspend (in S0ix)

Not normal. But I never had that.

@linuxmad,

can you let the machine suspend from DE?

Not sure which DE you are using but KDE & Gnome have something like this.

After X minutes of idle <do-something>.

Important for testing, do NOT close the LID :)

You can use kshutdown under KDE to set a time out for sleep.

You don't need that, the built-in power management has such options.

@osnix just thought I'd let you know

1. The patch needs reworking for 5.13.9, could you do it? There's been some changes to the affected files, I tried to fix it but I'm not good at these patches heh. Looks like in amd-pmc.c there's some of the commits that got accepted but not all, and the other files had changes too.

I'm still on 5.13.x because ZFS doesn't support 5.14 on any ZFS versions as far as I know, so there's that.

2. I think the server where you host the patches has an expired certificate, just thought I'd let you know. Well, I was meant to let you know 2 weeks ago but alas procrastination.

3. Do you get issues with the sysfs thinkpad_acpi based keyboard backlight control on 5.13? The hardware keybind control works, but the software control is broken, and GNOME doesn't show the popup or slider.

4. Off-topic, but how's your vacation? ;)

Forget 10m runs, they mean nothing.

If you want to test >1h runs, better >3h.

Sometimes the first 30m eats about twice the energy...

I look at what they did in .7++. But first on weekend.

Yes, this is already fixed. Thx.

No, I don't but I don't use GNOME.
