you need to update your BIOS. 1.32 is fixing that.

Is there any information or experience on how long it will take for 1.32 to be available via LVFS/fwupd?

I received 1.32 with fwupd. There was a comment about resetting the BIOS to default settings to enable DMAR support. However, that was very unclearly formulated. Is this something I should do? How can I easily get back/reinstate my BIOS preferences after going to default settings?

I've had a bricked machine due to not resetting the BIOS before a fwupd, so I would suggest you do it anyway. It should take 2 minutes tops to note down your bios settings for reverting them afterwards and it might save you from a world of pain.
