Re: ThinkPad X1 Wireless Touch Mouse with linux

"Presentation" mode also works fine. This mouse can be used as a touchpad with PgUp/PgDown buttons.

Re: ThinkPad X1 Wireless Touch Mouse with linux

As far as I remember (I unfortunately lost my mouse) I could go through the slides (pageup/down) but wasn't able to use touchpad on the back side of my mouse. That wasn't supported in Linux.

Re: ThinkPad X1 Wireless Touch Mouse with linux

Hi there. I finally found a solution for the slow and laggy mouse in Bluetooth mode in this thread

I did the following:

sudo nano /var/lib/bluetooth/xx\:xx\:xx\:xx\:xx\:xx/yy\:yy\:yy\:yy\:yy\:yy/info

where xx:xx.... is a PC Bluetooth address and yy:yy... is the mouse Bluetooth address.

In my case it's /var/lib/bluetooth/0C\:54\:15\:11\:EA\:94/F6\:1D\:EC\:89\:F6\:3F/info

It looks like:

[General]
Name=ThinkPad X1 Mouse
...

In the file, I added the section at the end:

[ConnectionParameters]
MinInterval=6
MaxInterval=7
Latency=0
Timeout=216

The value was proposed by user from the thread, I did not do any specific tuning.

then, I restarted Bluetooth service with:

sudo systemctl restart bluetooth

It works!

And we're back...

Move delayed but still coming
