Won't turn off from Airplane Mode, debian, x201 - Wifi won't work

Hello, my WiFi connection won't work. my laptop is thinkpad x201 with debian and it is in Airplane mode and won't turn off. When I click to turn off airplane mode, it says to use hardware switch to turn off and I tried all Fa-F12 but nothing works.

please help, thanks.

Re: Won't turn off from Airplane Mode, debian, x201 - Wifi won't work

Welcome to the forum

There's a hardware switch for the wifi on the left side, next to the yellow USB.

Did wifi worked before? X201 normally came with Intel wifi cards, in all the ThinkPads I have using Debian I had to manually install the Intel drivers, they don't come with the default Debian install.
