Yoga 910 - Linux dual boot - unmountable boot volume

2017-04-03, 14:37 PM

I installed arch linux alongside w10 on a brend new Yoga 10. I strictly followed instructions (safeboot diabled, AHCI enables, fastboot disabled), let the EFI windows partition, split the SSD in two, installed arch and systemd-boot as bootloader. I have the menu entries but no OS can boot (Linux nor w10).

Please find all details in the arch forum.

I have read here some post saying I must reinstall w10 with AHCI as in reality it is not in AHCI on Yoga10 (I quote: windows was installed in RAID mode, not AHCI. ). Really true?

Now I would like at least to repair and boot into w10. How can I do? I reset BIOS setting to original, but w10 still can't boot. I wonder why as the original EFI part is here and has been untunched.

Shall I resinstall w10? If yes, is there a quick way to do it?

Or does anyone here has a clean solution to dual boot ?

Thank you for help as my Yoga is atm unusable.
