Te revert back to JB, you need the flash tool, drivers and software plus the S123 ROM. You can get everything from here:

I'm much happier with JB, the KK update is too buggy.

Re: Ideaphone P780 and Android 4.4 Kit Kat

I recently updated P780 to Kitkat 4.4.2. Many users complained about camera and VIBE gui. but for me everything works just fine and i am loving new GUI.

I have issue with my google keyboard. there is no option to enable swipe function or gesture typing.

Hence i installed Android L keyboad, but here also i cannot go into setting. it gives me error saying "Cannot load setting"

Does anybody faces these issue  ?

Experts please help me to get my swipe keyboard back

I am not very much fan of swift keyboard.

@ijay
Hi.. I just checked couldn't find any such group
Operating system occupies 2.2 gb rest is free and available to use.. I have the 8 gb version.. Earlier there were 2 4gb partitions.. Now they are gone after the kitkat update.. 5.8 gb is free

@sajithten
Yup menu is gone after the update.. Kitkat has such menu.. But the lenovo version of kitkat which they call vibe ui doesn't have a menu.. You could use launchers to get back the menu.. I am using nemus launcher its light and basic.. Nova,apex lauchers are popular ones.. Everything about me launcher is a little heavy but its has lot of features.

@thinkyash, I already posted this a few days back, KitKat does not come with the Google keyboard that has swype, it comes with the Android AOSP keyboard that does not have swype. If you want your swype back, go to the Play Store and download Google keyboard. Simple.

@kenny_cfc, if you have removed Google apps then you will not be able to OTA update. You could either reinstall the apps back or flash to KitKat through a PC or flash to S124 through a PC and then OTA update to KitKat. Note that root is fine for updating OTA so if you have rooted your phone but not removed any Google apps, you will be able to OTA update just fine.

@Sajithen, lots of users are experiencing problems with the camera in KitKat which is not as good or clear as in JellyBean. Hopefully a fix will be coming soon to make the Kitkat camera better or at least as good as 4.2.
