Oh well... I never use the on-screen navi bar... Even if use it, hide it still no issue. Bottom portion of my unit still working as usual...

I do not know malfunction of the lower part.
If the phone is in landscape the same problem occurs in the side where the buttons should be there, so do not impute the problem to the screen.

What really bothered me is that every time I find myself enabled buttons and I have to systematically hide them.

Me too facing this issue for last 2 days.

Bottom portion which occupy navigation buttons, does not work in full screen (hiding navigation buttons) feature. But navigation buttons working properly. In Lenovo companion app, bottom portion does not even having lines to test touch. I can't even use keyboard space bar in hiding navigation feature.

Oh, look. 8 monthslater and we still have thisproblem. Ido notwant touse thenavigationbaratall. Todemonstrate the problem while typing with the barhidden I hve keptthe typos inthis message. Same thingactually happensonallsidesofthescreebn. Letters such as q, a, p, l and backspace, spacebar donot react if you pressthem moretotheside.

 

My previous smartphone didnt havethis problem and I was happy as hellin termsof tying.

 

Showusa way toenablescreen edgetouch or showus your incompetence. Really frustrated. Every Chinese nonamegetsitright inthementime.

My phone is just 5 weeks old and I'm facing the same issue.......it looks like either it's a nougat upgrade issue which they are unable to fix or they have used faulty and very cheap quality display for p2 

Not expected such type of poor experience from Lenovo....will not try again nor recommend anyone. Shame on you Lenovo. :manfrustrated:

15.12.2017 and the problem is still on board... I like the nougat update but this issue is really irritating..

I have similar issue. First it starts with space bar mistakenly as B or N.

Now it expand higher. Always make typo mistake. Test with multi touch show 2 spot at once.

Are you using any protective case/screen protector? Does it have any physical/liquid damage? 

 

*Try to remove  protective case/screen protector to see if it corrects the problem

* If there are no damages, try a factory reset through Settings. Make sure to back up your data since it will delete all your data.

* If there any damages, please send it to repair.
